Our presenters represent a wide range of disciplines, from higher education to emergency response, and are committed to advancing safety on campuses nationwide.

 

Keynote Speaker

Mark DeMarco, MSM, CFM

Mark DeMarco is a distinguished leader in the fire and life safety industry, bringing over 25 years of experience to his work. He currently serves as Senior Manager at Walt Disney World, where he oversees the Testing, Inspection, and Maintenance (TIM) of more than 600 fire alarm systems across 1,200 properties on the resort’s expansive property.

In this role, Mark ensures that all fire protection systems are maintained to the highest standards, safeguarding guests, cast members, and infrastructure. His leadership helps uphold Disney’s reputation for operational excellence and safety compliance.

Justin Hayes, CFPS

Justin Hayes is a seasoned safety professional and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Safety and Security for the University of Tennessee’s Department of Housing. With a degree in Occupational Safety & Health and more than 20 years of experience in the fire service, Justin brings a real-world, hands-on approach to safety leadership.
